I am staying in an Air BnB in Lausanne. How does a host get a free bus and tram pass for a guest? I went to the Lausanne tourism site and it talks about free passes but doesn't offer information or application to get one. Does it cost the host anything to get the pass?

Thank You

Hello Jeffschlan1,

I am quite sure that the Lausanne Transport Card is subject to the tourist tax in Lausanne. I am not sure how your Air BnB host handles this, so he would have to apply for it, which of course only works he also pays the tax ( commodation/airbnb).

Here the official link:
- lausanne-transport-card-and-more
- usanne/hotels

I believe you will have to talk to the host.
