I am new to travel. My family and I will be travelling from Geneva to Lauterbrunnen in June and will spend a few days there. We will then travel from Lauterbrunnen to Zermatt and stay one day there. Finally, we will travel from Zermatt to Vevey for 3 days and then take the train back to Geneva Airport to fly home.

What type of travel pass would be best for 4 adults? Two adults are 25 years old. We plan to do Jungfraujoch and the Matterhorn.

Your assistance is appreciated and thank you in advance.

Hi 64joneill, and welcome!

I'm not sure of the total number of days, but an 8-day Swiss Travel Pass could be your best option: isstravelpass. You may want to compare that to the Swiss Half Fare Card: isshalffarecard. Please see ain/ticketspasses/prac tical/chooserailpass if you want to compare the overall costs in detail. The Swiss Travel Pass is the most convenient option in any case. There is a cheaper Youth version of that pass for the 25 year olds: isstravelpass/price.

For things to do and suggested hotels, please see:

Thanks Arno. I felt that may be the pass we needed but I wanted to ask an expert :)
